Just an hour from Prague lies Kutná Hora — once the second most important city in the Kingdom of Bohemia, thanks to its rich silver mines. Today, this charming UNESCO-listed town invites you to step back in time and experience its fascinating past.

We’ll wander through its cobbled streets, visit the breathtaking Cathedral of St. Barbara, and stop by the Sedlec Ossuary, where art and mystery meet in a chapel adorned with thousands of human bones. At the Silver Museum, you’ll even have the chance to descend into the medieval mines and discover how this city’s fortune was made.

If you’re claustrophobic, this part can easily be skipped — there’s plenty more to enjoy above ground!
